hahaha went semi-formal shopping today with my mum...am never shopping unnecessarily ever again...I should've listened to my cheap conscience and stuck with just wearing what I was planning to wear...like a skirt and top from my normal clothes...but NOOOO jing was horrified I would be doing so...so I wasted 3hrs of my life shopping...and dealing with lame shop assistants...

rite...there's two types and they both piss me off. Type one, the know it alls. They go up to you, start feeling you up and describing how the dress looks on you even though ur right in front of a mirror...ask you for ur opinion then tell you what they think (usually opposite to what you think.) That's what the lady at Sheike Burwood did...i wanted a smaller size coz the straps were down to my boobs but then she started touching my stomach area (I am very sensitive about ppl touching that area coz my self esteem in that area is -100!!!) and saying how a smaller size would make it 'less flattering' and how I should stick with this one and sew up the straps...she honestly sounded like an infocommercial person - 'see, just sew it up. easy.' Then she went on to ask which dress I liked better...the turquoise one or the brown one? I said the brown one...she said, 'oh but the colour of the first one flatters you more.' Like why ask for my opinion in the first place? Does it matter? Does she even need to know, if she's just going to thrust her opinion on me?

Type two, the people who couldn't give a shit about you. Yes I know I sound like a whiny bitch complaining about ppl who smother me then complaining about ppl who leave me alone...but yes...the ppl who don't care are like...annoying...coz you feel unwelcome in the store and they just give you a cold look. This happened at Joi Parramatta...only when I walked out did the lady give me a fake smile and said 'bye.' Like no concern whatsoever!

hmm another thing that pisses me off about shopping...parting with my money...like 300 bucks for a piece of fabric...um no...I would prefer to buy half a year's supply of junk food/ school lunches than one dress to wear for a night...

anyways all in all...shopping for semiformal sucks...

btw I am queen of Age of Empires when it comes to islands! I am master ship builder!

and i tell you again....go shopping with friends!!!...thus...no need for assistants...endless flattery when you try on things...and you get the truth as well...*rolls eyes*...duh...hahaha
hmmmm...i'm now not liking AOE that much...pfffft....stupid Battle of Kadesh...thought i was winning coz of my killer naval army...like...hello??!!!??...i have over 21 ships...but pffft...turns out that they are nothing against those chariot men....pffft...stupid chariot men...and they also can't destroy a lot of the buildings that are further inland...lol...but i do love my naval army...hahaha....good stuff with the ship building...
